Hobo Project - 01

New Updates are always a great way to get things moving along.

Hobo Cluster is made up of 7 PCs

• Hammer (HP6735) 555 MHz 128MB
• Uranus (HP6648c)
• Searcher 600MHz 256MB
• Yumi (Web server) 266MHz 256MB
• Lupin 450MHz 256MB
• Trisha
• Kdonna 256MB

The Incompleteness is subject to not having a program to read the specs from inside windows, and the problem with Trisha, and Searcher needing reinstalled.

The Network is a 2 part. First is a 24port 10/100 hub, Second is a Belkin 10/100 B/G Wireless Router.

The Plan is to install Ubuntu on all the systems, followed by Server software.

I really hope to get some interest in the cluster. Small jobs of coarse. I've got to setup Terminal Server, and get the IPs into another Subnet.
